According to dispatch logs, the Syracuse Police Department responded to a motor vehicle collision at Hiawatha Boulevard West and Duke Drive around 3:45 p.m. Details regarding the incident remain unconfirmed.

In other areas of the city, multiple fires were reported. The Syracuse Fire Department was dispatched to a residential fire on Hier Avenue, while the Dewitt Fire Department responded to a fire at Bradford Heights Road. No additional information is available on these incidents.

The Amr Ambulance service was also called to respond to a motor vehicle collision involving possible injuries on James Street and North Midler Avenue. Multiple units were dispatched to this incident, including police, fire, and ambulance.

Other incidents reported in the area include multiple burglaries, with reports of burglars at Parrish Lane and Chestnut Crossing Apartments. Police also responded to a hazardous condition on West Fayette Street and South Franklin Street.

Firefighters from the Moyers Corners Fire Department responded to a report of an outdoor fire at the Amazon Warehouse on Morgan Rd in Clay, NY on Tuesday morning. The fire was reported to be behind the building in a cardboard compactor.

Upon arrival, the fire department quickly extinguished the fire. However, firefighters on the scene reported heavy smoke in the area as a result of the fire. Several trucks parked in the area had to be moved in order to access the compactor. Firefighters on scene reported issues with one of the fire hydrants in the area, despite the recent construction of the facility.

Despite the heavy smoke, the fire did not spread to anything outside of the compactor, thanks to the quick response of the fire department. There were no injuries reported as a result of the fire.

The Amazon Warehouse on Morgan Rd in Clay, NY is a large facility that serves as a distribution center for the company. The warehouse employs hundreds of workers and processes thousands of packages each day.

Update: 8:35 PM: Moyers Corners Fire is still on scene fighting the fire, reported that the sprinkler system has engaged.

Update 9:25: Operations at the fire at the Amazon Warehouse in Clay are still ongoing. Reports from the scene sound like the situation is under control and fire personnel are ensuring the cardboard in the compactor does not re-ignite.

Update: 9:55 PM: Moyers Corners units are clearing from the scene and returning to their station.

A residential fire broke out at 716 Libby St, Salina, NY on March 23, 2023, at around 5:57 PM. The Liverpool Fire Department responded to the scene and found that the fire was on the outside wall of the house, behind the siding. The firefighters quickly extinguished the flames and prevented the fire from spreading to the inside of the house. Liverpool Fire, requested National Grid report to the scene. No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Update 6:30PM: Liverpool Fire requested that the American Red Cross respond to the scene. The Red Cross can provided financial assistance which can be used for immediate needs like shelter, food, and clothing

Update 6:35 PM: Fire Department reports the fire is out and they are starting to break down the equipment at the scene.

Minoa Fire Department Responds to Camper Fire in Town of Manlius On the evening of March 20th, the Minoa Fire Department responded to a report of a camper on fire next to a residence at 7346 Myers Rd in the Town of Manlius. Upon arrival, fire units discovered that the fire had spread to a second camper and a nearby garage. At this time, it is unknown if the camper was occupied at the time of the fire.

Syracuse Fire Department, Syracuse Police, and Syracuse Ambulance responded to an active structure fire at a 2-story residential building located at 343 Park St, Syracuse, NY. The incident occurred on Monday, March 20th, 2023, at around 6:04 PM. The fire was reported to be in progress, and emergency services were dispatched. The fire was reported by callers who saw black smoke coming from the roof and heavy fire on the left side of the building. The building is located on Park street between Merz Ave and Grumbach Ave. The fire was reported to be on the second floor of the building. The Syracuse Fire Department arrived on the scene and worked to extinguish the fire. The Syracuse Police and Syracuse Ambulance were also present to provide assistance. The cause of the fire is currently unknown, and there is no information available on any injuries or fatalities.
