Yet another tractor-trailer collided with the railroad bridge on Onondaga Lake Parkway in Salina, NY, causing significant damage to the air diverter and exhaust of the tractor. The incident took place approximately 7:45 a.m. on Wednesday March 29th 2023. The truck was hauling a flatbed trailer with steel pipes that were not damaged in the collision. The incident occurred due to the driver missing the overheight vehicle signs. Fortunately, no injuries were reported. It is important for all drivers to pay attention to road signs and height restrictions to avoid such accidents. The Sheriff's Office is investigating the incident.
